hey, we GREW UP cleaning windows with vinegar and water! Mom & Dad only had spray-window cleaner around for use in the studio to remove gunky flux deposits, &c.

Karne–yes, I use a little spray bottle for this. I found it for about $1 in the health/beauty supply area. (We actually bought them to use on our new cats to teach them were they were allowed. Now we just have to reach for the bottle by the back door and Sith goes running. Unfortunately, it didn’t work so well anywhere else, but we pretty much allow them everywhere except on the dining table. And we *knew* they go up there when we aren’t around. Oh well! The bottles have now come in handy for other things!)

Sounds like a great book. I want to make a vinegar water solution but might need to buy a spray bottle, or wait until we run out of our regular cleaning solution.

I use vinegar and water to wash just about every surface in my house now; floors, counters, microwave, windows. I love how simple and efficient it is, I’ll have to look up that book!
