First, here’s all the paper I recycled and things I threw out

Notice the books neatly on the bottom shelf instead of piled on my table. Those are the ones I’m inspired to read in 1-2 hours each, plus materials for my course that I probably won’t reference the rest of the semester. And the lack of dead leaves!

Notice the addition of a laptop to the otherwise nicely cleared and cleaned table. It’s an XO, as in the One Laptop Per Child! It’s not mine–someone else on campus bought it and loaned it to us to check out.

    What do you think of the XO? I really wanted one, but with the wedding and finances in flux, didn’t do it before the deadline. One of those nagging regrets….

    I keep hearing from those adults who have them about how wonderful they are!
