January 28th, 2008 - Heat

A quick note that last week, we turned the heat down to 65 during the day. Eric had been doing it manually a bit the week before, decided he could live with it, and asked me to program it in.

The really weird thing about this? It’s too cold for me!!!!! I think it’s because I spend the day in a 70+ degree office (relatively cool this winter; usually, it’s so hot I take off my sweater; they’ve fixed it somehow and that’s only true in our computer lab this year). So 65 feels really cold after 8 hours of warmer temps. On Saturday, I turned it up to 67, but on Sunday I managed to keep it at 65.

I am impessed. i have tried to get below 70, but I am so miserable that I would rather go without a meal than be cold and uncomfortable.
I wear socks, slippers, undershirts, sweatshirts even gloves with the fingers cut out of the tops and I am still cold. The only time I can go below 70 is when I go to bed.
I live in the south and I just think my blood is too thin, is there a way to alter this? I also have a very warm work place so it is hard to adjust.
